Renowned drama school, The Young Actors Company presents an evening of outstanding theatre, filled with magic, adventure, and plenty of laughs. Welcome to Once Upon a Time, a spectacular fairytale doubleheader where two enchanting stories come to life on stage, with jokes, music, and lots of audience participation. Oh no, there isn’t… Oh yes, there is!
First up, Jane’s Fairytale Adventure, brought to you by Junior Stage Academy, Peterborough’s youngest young actors. Jane is tired of her ordinary life, she doesn’t fit in and is always told she needs to change. But when a mysterious stranger gives her a magic mirror, Jane is transported to a faraway land where the unexpected becomes reality. A thrilling adventure awaits, but will Jane ever find her way home?
Then, get ready for Sleeping Beauty, a YAC pantomime with an 80's twist! The decade of neon, legwarmers, and big hair is shaping the future, and Princess Kylie is about to celebrate her birthday and her coronation. But trouble is brewing, as the wicked Inferno has other plans: to cast a spell that will send Kylie into a thousand-year sleep! Expect drama, music, outrageous fun, and plenty of shouting—as is only right in a panto!
