There are very few soap characters that are remembered more than Eastenders’ Heather Trott, lover of cheese, George Michael and best friends with Shirl! But what happened to actress Cheryl Fergison after her character was so brutally murdered with a picture frame hurled at her head by the young Ben Mitchell? Cheryl’s life has resembled a soap plot of her own including an array of other acting roles in tours such as Menopause the Musical, playing herself in Catherine Tate’s Hard Cell as well as numerous appearances in shows such as Dodger and David Walliams’ Hansel and Gretel and her time in the Celebrity Big Brother house. Cheryl is thrilled to be performing at The Cresset as it’s a return to her childhood home as she lived in Bretton from the age of nine until she left for drama school at 20. Cheryl will be telling us her memories of living in Peterborough with stories from her early career and of course, her time in Eastenders as Heather and just last year her performance in the Cresset’s pantomime ! An Evening with Cheryl Fergison’ promises to lift the lid on some showbiz stories and she’ll also sing for you from her wide ranging repertoire and showing you film clips from some of her magical moments.
